Real estate crowdfunding is a modern form of collective investment in construction and urban development projects. It consists of pooling capital with other people in order to take part in real estate projects that, individually, would be hard to reach.
Through a digital platform, many investors contribute funds that are allocated to a specific project. Once construction is completed and the targets are reached, the profits are distributed proportionally among all participants.
This model allows people with little capital to invest in large projects, such as residential buildings, housing complexes or the renovation of existing buildings, which is increasingly relevant in the context of Chile's urban development.
Crowdfunding opens up the real estate market and makes it more accessible. It is no longer the prerogative of large developers or investment funds: today, anyone who wishes to can take part in it.
Methodology
How does it work?
You choose the project you are most interested in, decide the amount you wish to invest, and follow the construction progress through the platform. Once the project is completed, you receive your share of the profits.
